Specialized Wound Management is a company that is dedicated to serving our facilities and their patients through innovative wound evaluation and treatment while maintaining a strong commitment to family values. We believe that wound healing is a collaborative process that involves our nurse practitioners, the patient, his or her family, the physician, and nursing and therapy.
Each patient's care plan is holistic and is developed specifically for that patient and their individual medical condition with a commitment to continuity of care and evidenced based practices we strive to promote optimal outcomes in wound healing.
M.D. Advanced provides foot care services utilizing Certified Nurse Practitioners in long-term care, assisted and independent living communities.

A complete exam of nails, debridement, excision of toe nails, lesions, etc., can be conducted every 60 days to improve toe nail health.

Follow-up appointments are communicated with the client and the community. All services are billed directly to the client's insurance by M.D. Advanced to prevent any out of pocket cost.
Serving select areas in Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska.

Rita Kelley
Executive Director of Operations
Enriched with higher education and leadership experience in Occupational Therapy, Orthotics, and Geriatrics, Rita Kelley is an icon in the long-term care industry. Her lifelong desire to improve care and bring innovative ideas to the forefront resulted in what is known today as M.D. Advanced.
Leading with her success of Specialized Wound Management, Rita proudly joined the Delmar Gardens Family in 2009. Her sterling reputation led to implementation of wound care services to all Delmar Gardens' communities and other nursing centers in Missouri, Illinois and Kansas.
In 2010, Rita continued to evolve within long-term care and senior living and founded M.D. Advanced. M.D. Advanced provides foot care services by a team of highly experienced Certified Nurse Practitioners. Under Rita's leadership, M.D. Advanced is now providing foot care services in Missouri, Illinois and Kansas.
